For the third and last post on our honeymoon, I’m sharing my favorite pictures from our time in London, Paris, and Rome:

Kensington Palace

From London we took the two hour Euro Star ride into Paris. Unfortunately, we were only there for one full day and and it was during a national holiday so everything was closed. (Note to self: always check the calendar in other countries before planning a trip.) Good thing the Eiffel Tower is always open!

This picture is really blurry but I love it because it reminds me of the night we arrived when the entire city was foggy and rainy.

On our second night in Paris, we decided to go to the movies since everything else was closed. I asked the man working at the theatre if he had any tips on visiting the Louvre, since we heard the lines to get tickets were about 2 hours long. He told us about a side entrance that not many people know about. He said to look for two large gold lions and walk through those doors. We found said lions and discovered a separate entrance that was completely empty! Making friends with the locals totally pays off.

Looking back on our amazing two week trip, all I can think is how lucky we were to visit so many beautiful places. Getting to see how other people live and exploring different cultures is an experience I will never forget.
